Raven Resources Corp. Explores Public-Private Development Initiatives in Belleville, Illinois

Belleville, IL – September 1, 2023 – Raven Resources Corp. has been actively engaged in discussions with City of Belleville leadership to explore a public-private partnership focused on potential investments in hospitality, dining, and recreation. As part of these discussions, Raven is considering a series of initiatives aimed at enhancing Belleville’s economic landscape and community experience.
The proposed plans include potential collaboration with the City of Belleville on tax increment financing (TIF) and other municipal incentives to support these developments. Among the initiatives under consideration are:
Aim Inn – A proposed extended-stay lodging concept designed to accommodate students, visitors, and families affiliated with the police academy, justice center, and forensic crime lab.
Belleville Brasserie – A French-inspired fine dining experience, offering an elegant atmosphere and a refined culinary selection.
Belleville Hunt & Fish Club – A rustic hunting lodge-style restaurant, featuring game meats and fresh seafood.
Fleschbeins – A traditional German restaurant, serving hearty sausages and authentic Bavarian cuisine.
St. Clair Hunt Club – A private country club dining venue, providing an exclusive gourmet experience in an upscale setting.
Badge & Bounty – A retail destination, featuring Goalbys, a tribute to Belleville’s legendary golfer, Robert “Bob” Goalby.
Western Brewing – A sports bar and brewpub, reviving the historic Western Brewing Company name in Belleville.
Blair’s Café – A local dining staple within the Badge & Bounty development.
Craig Norton Art – A rotating art show and gastropub tied to the Belleville Art Festival, a cultural event gaining global recognition.
